These images were done for McGaw Graphics to be published as posters. They asked me to produce those images after seeing my jazz great series which they liked a lot. And even though I started working on this project as I would on a commission, having a set frame of mind about the finished product, the process soon became very fluid, very enjoyable. And the images themselves surprised me more than once, which is always a good sign in my work.
