Here is my participation to the Doe de mee project. The goal here was to (re)create a cover for a very well-known Belgian novel “La plage d’Ostende” by Jacqueline Harpman.
Some words about the very interesting doe de mee project:
“We got 100 artists from 28 countries to (re)designe the covers for “The 100 Greatest Novels of All Time” (The Observer, 2003). To those 100 novels, we added the 10 greatest Belgian novels, those covers were (re)designed by Belgian artists. Our mission: raise awareness for the problem of illiteracy.”
The covers are on display at the muntpunt in the center of Brussels.
